About
SuryaGrid installs and operates community solar micro-grids for villages in Jharkhand, Odisha, and Chhattisgarh that receive less than 8 hours of grid power daily. Each micro-grid serves 40-80 households with clean, reliable electricity at below-grid rates.
The Problem
240 million Indians still lack reliable electricity. Even where grid exists, rural areas get 4-8 hours a day. This limits children's study time, prevents refrigeration of medicines and food, and blocks economic activity after sunset.
Our Solution
We install modular 20-50 kW solar micro-grids with battery storage. Our IoT management system optimizes energy distribution and enables pay-as-you-go billing via mobile. Communities co-own the grid through a cooperative model.

Message from Founder
Access to electricity is a human right, not a luxury. SuryaGrid has already lit up 23 villages. With Grand's support, we can build the digital platform that will let us scale to 500 villages without losing the community ownership model that makes this work.
